Class: Tussie Mussie Workshop
Saturday, May 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In Queen Elizabeth I’s day, people believed that smelling
certain herbs and flowers could protect them from diseases. Tussie
mussies were small bundles of flowers carried for this purpose –
as well as for protecting the nose from offending odors! Join Sandi
Barnette, head of Agecroft’s Garden Department, to create
an authentically styled tussie mussie, using herbs and flowers appropriate
to Elizabethan England.
Admission: $8 per person. Advance paid registration is required
by Wednesday, May 14.

while strolling the grounds.
